About Our Accommodation
Newtown Farm Bed and Breakfast is a charming 3 star accommodation which is family run by Teresa and Maurice O'Connor. Our bed and breakfast accommodation is located near the coastal resort of Ardmore, Co. Waterford in the wonderful Sunny South East of Ireland. We have looked after guests for the past 25 years and pride ourselves on giving a warm Irish welcome. We attract lots of visitors each year to our guesthouse. A full equipped sauna and a hard tennis court are extra amenities that we are delighted to offer our guests at no extra charge.
Breakfast is served in our sunny breakfast room overlooking the garden with view of Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast uses local ingredients and includes mouth-watering homemade scones, fruit, muesli and brown soda bread, local cheeses, free-range eggs from the farm, smoked salmon and the traditional hot full Irish breakfast. Standard amenities include Internet, direct dial telephone hairdryers hospitality tray and top quality beds. All rooms have outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and gardens while south facing rooms have balconies With views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Our Accommodation lies in the heart of West Waterford, an area of outstanding beauty. The peace and quite of the surrounding countryside offers ample opportunities for rest and relaxation. One of its great charms lies in the diversity of it's landscape.
The area is a walker's paradise with the local Ardmore cliff walk and the Comeragh Mountains a short drive away. The Comeraghs are recognised, as one of Ireland's most beautiful Mountain ranges. Situated close by are the towns of Dungarvan and Youghal. The locality offers a choice of four 18 hole golf courses. Explore the Heritage town of Lismore, situated on the famous River Blackwater (well known to Anglers). Equestrian fans and race goers, greyhound followers and anglers will find much to enjoy in county waterford. The wide-open spaces that beacon everywhere.
